Insurance Acceptance
Tuckahoe Orthopaedic Associates participates with Medicare, Medicaid and most major insurance companies. For questions regarding participation with your specific insurance carrier, please contact Tuckahoe Orthopaedic Associates Business Office at (804) 288-2830.
At the time of your visit, please be prepared to pay any insurance co-payment for which you may be responsible. In addition, you should bring any referral from your Primary Care Physician if required by your insurance plan. Tuckahoe Orthopaedic Associates will gladly file a claim on your behalf with your insurance company, however, Tuckahoe Orthopaedic does not bill third parties for auto accidents or personal injuries.
In the event your insurance changes, we ask your cooperation in notifying Tuckahoe Orthopaedic Associates Business Office of your new coverage. The Business Office staff will also work with you should extenuating circumstances prevent you from paying your account when due. Please call 288-2830 to speak with a patient account representative.
