Charity Care & Community Support

To help serve low income, uninsured patients in our community, we work closely with the Richmond Academy of Medicine’s Access Now program to provide orthopaedic care. Under this program, our physicians and staff donate their time and expertise to less fortunate members of our community.

An integral part of Tuckahoe Orthopaedics is giving back to the community. The physicians and staff accomplish this through volunteer and philanthropic endeavors. Many members of our group give of their time and talents to provide medical coverage and care as well as support in fundraising events for various charitable organizations. Over the years we have supported the athletes of Special Olympics Virginia, the Arthritis Foundation, the American Red Cross, the YMCA, and local free clinics. In addition, several of our physicians work closely with mission groups to provide medical and surgical care for the indigent at home and abroad through church-sponsored medical teams and the International Hospital for Children.
